Dexter Patterson is the Store Development Manager for Starbucks Coffee Company within the Southeast Region. Dexter is responsible for the new store development in Georgia. His responsibilities include store development and asset management of 200+ existing store portfolio. He is responsible for market planning, site selection and development in various venue types: freestanding, inline, retail endcap venues, Drive-Thru only formats, conversion and high street retail. Dexter has been involved in the corporate/ retail real estate related function for 20+ years at various levels.

Before coming to Starbucks Coffee Company, Dexter was Vice President with Jones, Lang LaSalle (JLL) in the Corporate Retail Solutions Group. In this position, he facilitated the roll out of T-Mobile locations in the Southeast United States. Additionally, he managed the lease portfolio for Fed Ex Office across the United States. He received his bachelor’s degree of Business Administration- Real Estate from J. Mack Robinson School of Business, Georgia State University. He has been employed with Starbucks for 9 years. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) since 2000.
